Carmen Berger, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. In private practice dermatology since 2003, Dr. Berger has authored articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, lectured at professional society meetings, and been named to the Seattle Top Doctor list multiple years.
Dr. Berger earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California at Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology and minoring in Spanish. She attended the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee for her medical degree. Double boarded in both internal medicine and dermatology, Dr. Berger received her training at the University of Washington, completing a residency in internal medicine, a Clinician-Teacher fellowship in internal medicine, and a residency in dermatology. She was a chief resident in dermatology during her final year of training.
Dr. Berger’s dermatology practice is inspired by the desire to help patients understand and care for their skin. A love of science, enjoyment of clinical medicine, and dedication to those under her care motivate her to work for the best possible outcomes for every one of her patients.
In her free time Dr. Berger enjoys cooking, exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
